Gianna Platt- Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) course registration forms are due Friday.

All course registration forms will be collected during third period. Students should be sure to have their selections made by then, along with any applications and approval if needed.

In case of absence on the day forms are collected, students should turn in their registration form to the guidance office as soon as possible.

Registration forms were handed out on Tuesday of this week, giving students the opportunity to think about their course selections and to discuss what options they should consider for next year with their parents and current teachers.

Sophomore Claire Truong said, “I'm getting very excited thinking about all of the new classes I'll be taking next year.”

While course registration can be exciting for students, it can be stressful and overwhelming as well.

Sophomore Baya Erwin explained, “I’ve been really stressed because getting registered for courses has been making me think more about my future and what kind of path I want to take.”

In the next few weeks, LRHS counselors will start having individual meetings with each student, to discuss course placement and answer any questions they may have.

Sophomore Aranza Gomez said, “Even though it’s stressful picking out classes for next year, I'm excited for what the new school year will bring.”
