(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) track and field team competed in their first 2026 meet at George Jenkins High School.
There were a total of 22 teams competing at the Bob English Invitational on Feb. 14, in Lakeland.
The boys varsity 4x800 relay finished third place with senior Zachariah Kersey, junior Colton Prater, junior Jacob Gomez, and junior Kenneth DeStefano.

Junior Jordan Ventresca ran three events in her first meet. She stated that, “I was a bit nervous because it was my first track meet in two years, but overall, I think I did pretty good. It was excited to compete again, and I can’t wait for more meets.”
The next track meet is on Feb. 21 at Braden River High School.
