Caroline Bartlomiejczuk- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) track and field team attended the Tarpon Classic at Charlotte High School.
They travelled on a charter bus to Punta Gorda for the meet and even with a lightning delay, the team still had a great meet with several new personal records and many claiming top three finishes in their events.
Mustang firsts place finishes included –
Boys won 4X800 meter
Girls 4X100 meter
Girls 4X800 meter
Kiki Bullas (junior) – girls javelin

The boys got second place overall while girls got third.
LRHS coach Ashley Palmer said, “I’m so proud of our girls, especially the freshman and sophomore on our team. We are excited to build a strong team every practice.”
The next meet is scheduled for March 10 at Southeast High School.
