(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) -- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members had the chance to experience the 2026 Florida State Leadership Conference (FL SLC).
The conference took place from March 12 - 14 in Orlando.
During the conference students had the opportunity to -
Participate in their competitive events
Network with business professionals
Attend workshops and general sessions
Vote for the 2026-2027 Officer Team
Hear from guest speakers
Win state awards

LRHS senior Nada Alhallaq placed third in the Graphic Design event. Alhallaq will have the opportunity to represent Florida FBLA and compete at the national level this summer in San Antonio, Texas.
Junior Ariana Pressimone had a unique SLC experience because she had the opportunity to join the SLC Internship.
Pressimone said, “Having the chance to compete at state level and experience the inner works of FBLA as an intern was remarkable and something I always look forward to.”
Prior to the State Leadership Conference, the LRHS FBLA chapter elected the 2026-2027 officer team.
