(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) LRHS students have spent the last few months finding prom dresses that are just right for them.
Prom is a traditional experience that almost all high school students remember for the rest of their lives. One crucial step in preparation for this special night is finding a dress.
Many have already found their prom dresses from stores such as Dillards, Macy’s, and smaller boutiques across the area. In this day and age, of course, students also order prom dresses from online stores.

LRHS Senior Andrea Toro said, “I got my dress from this online boutique called Stacee’s, they handmake everything and make dresses for all kinds of events.”
Dress types this year are most diverse, with styles ranging from ballgown to mermaid in all kinds of patterns and materials.
LRHS Senior Ava Hall said, “My dress is a pastel yellow and is made of a lace-like material. It has a floor length skirt and a straight neckline with thin straps.”
While the search is slowly coming to an end, there is still time to find the perfect dress before April 10. The LRHS prom is scheduled for 7 p.m., April 10 at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa.
