(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) -- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Senior Advisory Board Applications are now available for current juniors
Senior Advisory Board Applications are now available for pickup at math teacher and Senior Class Adviser Ann Fleury’s classroom in 572. The applications are also due to Fleury by April 10, the same day as the LRHS prom.
The Senior Advisory Board meets on Mondays and is in charge of a wide variety of senior class events. These range from small privileges to the entirety of senior week at the end of the year.
The board designs the senior sweatshirts, senior shirts, chooses class songs, class flowers, class motto, and oversees the Senior dinner amongst other things.

Current Senior Advisory Board member Sam Devine shared, “It’s a really good way to be involved, especially with your grade. And we come up fun ideas for the senior class like goodie bag privileges.”
Mustangs may remember seeing a table in the cafeteria with the sign “Senior Privilege” passing out treats; those were the senior privileges planned and executed by the Senior Advisory Board. The goal of the board is to create new events and privileges that make senior year more memorable for their fellow mustang seniors.
One of this year’s most successful senior events was Senior Trivia Night. Over 15 teams participated and the top three teams won Chick-Fil-A gift cards and candy as prizes.
