Maya Gilkison- Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- During third period on Friday, Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) seniors will be enjoying a Cracker Barrel breakfast as one of their senior privileges for the year.

Seniors must check in with their third period teachers before going to the cafeteria.

Seniors will be able to eat breakfast and play games before leaving school early. In order for seniors to leave early, they must bring their yellow Senior Early Release Permission slip with a parent's signature.

They will be released from the cafeteria after turning in their yellow slips to attend the prom. LRHS’s prom will take place on Friday at the new ballroom at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.

Seniors who are not leaving early can still attend the Senior Breakfast then return to class.

Senior Valeria Para stated, “As a member of Senior Advisory Board, we worked diligently to put this event together for our senior class and we wanted to make sure we provide a memorable experience for everyone. We prepared decorations and games, and we hope that everyone has a good time.

“As a senior, since we don’t have too much time left, I’m excited to experience the last few senior privileges that we have and hangout with my friends before we graduate.”
