(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The University of Michigan Wolverines beat the University of Connecticut Huskies for the NCAA Division 1 basketball championship on April 6.
The game drew a total attendance on 70,720 inside of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana. The game was close throughout with the final moments being the most crucial.
The Huskies got within four points with just 37 seconds left, which gave them the opportunity to win.

In the end the Wolverines won the game 69-63 that was described as “an electrifying game” by LRHS junior Elliot Brumfiel.
“I know that all the Michigan fans are the happiest people on the planet right now” said Sophomore Braeden Gentz about how he felt about the Wolverines winning the title.
