Vaibhav Akkinepally – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) boys soccer team players and coaches won the Sarasota Herald-Tribune HT-Preps boys soccer coach of the year and soccer player of the year awards.

The LRHS boys soccer team coach Vito Bavaro won the Boys Soccer Coach of the Year award.

Mustang Soccer Coach Vito Bavaro stated, “It is a wonderful honor to be the boys soccer coach of the year. I would not have earned this honor if not for the great assistant coaches Dr. Andy (Clark), Coach Robbie (Lloyd-Jones), Coach Daniel (Cadavid) and Coach Sean (Smith).”

Bavaro was also excited for his players who won the Boys Soccer Player of the Year award.

“I am so proud of Louka Coue for getting Boys Soccer Player of the Year, as well as (All Area Players) Ryan Johnson, Gavin Moore, Jaxson Ebling, Broden Beorlegui and Jaxson Lemus. What a great year with a group of great parents and players. Love you all,” Bavaro added.
