2026 prom

Erika Walters—Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Hundreds of Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Mustangs celebrated at Prom 2026 Friday.

The prom was held at Bradenton Area Convention Center.  Many guests were very pleased with the venue.

Autumn Goin said, “The venue was really nice, and the staff were extremely helpful.”

Noah Murack stated, “The environment was welcoming, making for a very enjoyable night.”

Inga Gluszak said, “The vibes were incredible and I had a great time.”

Taylor Longino stated, “This was an amazing experience with even better people!”

The prom is hosted by the LRHS Junior Advisory Board (JAB).

JAB President junior Zoe Lander said, “As a group, we worked to pick a theme and helped it come to life. I am so proud of all the work we put in and how prom turned out!”

JAB Vice President junior Avery Hackman stated, “Throughout our time in JAB, we came up with a theme and planned it throughout the year so everyone could have a great time. The work really paid off because prom turned out amazing!”

The venue was decorated to match the “Enchanted Forest” theme, with areas for guests to get snacks, water, and to sit and relax.

Towards the end of the night, seniors Ethan Hall and Leilani Galdamez were announced as Prom King and Queen. They were originally nominated by the teachers and then voted for by the students.

Galdamez said, “I am so excited and proud that I won with Ethan! Thank you.”

Hall stated, “It’s really exciting being prom king and honestly a little surprising but I’m just really happy overall.”
