Sabrina Holden and Cate Kitcher - Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) finished the orienteering season strong.

The Advanced Team (Green) for LRHS orienteering came in first overall in the state. The Intermediate Team (Orange) for LRHS came in fourth overall in the state. The Novice Team (Yellow) came in second overall in the state.

Sophomore Sgt. Jonah Rademacher stated, “States for orienteering was a great experience it was some hard competition, but I manly enjoyed the nature and the people.”

  • Ingrid Pope Third place

Advanced Male

  • Jack Crosbie. Second place

Senior Company Commander Crosbie said, “The green course was tough this time but it’s states, so it was to be expected. But I believe this was a good way to end off the season for the whole team and hopefully we can improve and come back stronger next year.”
