Aiden Mandel – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - After just one game in the district tournament, the Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Mustangs baseball season is over. The team played at Parrish Community High School and suffered a 6-2 defeat.
The first season under Head Coach Ian Desmond was a memorable one, as the team went 7-15 and lost to some of the most challenging teams in the state.

Varsity players gave their opinions on the season.
Junior Dax Moskowitz said, “Season was one of my favorites, Demond is a really great coach.”
Junior Jake Lefevre said, “At first my playing time was almost nonexistent, then when I got my opportunity, I was able to make an impact on this team.”
The team had memorable victories over Riverview, Palmetto, Southeast, and Lake Placid. Overall, it was a memorable season and a good start to the Desmond Era of Lakewood Ranch Baseball.
