Cassidy Barnhardt – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) held National Letter of Intent signing day for Mustang athletes Tuesday.
The nine students that were recognized were -
Olivia Henderson (Softball) - Millennia Atlantic University
Aubrey Mau (Soccer) - New College of Florida
Rheanne Fleming (Soccer) - Phieffer University
Tomas Alvarez (Soccer) - Chowan University
Gabe Lara (Soccer) - Alma College
Benjamin Perrupato (Soccer) - Gardner-Webb University
Kuwain Claxton (Baseball) - Mars Hill University
Evan Kuell (Baseball) - Lake Sumter State College
Kyle Goodwin (Swimming) - Lynn University

Senior Baseball player Evan Kuell said, “I feel really proud of myself, and my family is very proud and my coaches too.”
He mentioned having a tough junior year season, not playing to his full potential, but he is proud of getting better through that.
LRHS coach Eli Weaver spoke at the signing ceremony, introducing senior Olivia Henderson. “I enjoy the grind of seeing the student athletes from the beginning, moving to play the sport at the next level. It’s rewarding.”
