Maya Gilkison- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) has been invited by the Bradenton Marauders baseball team to participate in another LRHS “Takeover at the Park” at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 29 at LECOM Park.
This event is an opportunity for LRHS to showcase the school’s outstanding teams, clubs, and student activities. Groups who choose to participate have the option to set up tables inside the park to promote their club or activity.
Student Government Association (SGA) will cover the cost of admission for any LRHS faculty or staff member, along with one additional guest.
Any student participating in the event will be admitted free of charge. Additional tickets may be purchased for $10.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available for a fee.
The Bradenton Marauders are a Minor League Baseball team in the Florida State League (FSL) and the Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. They were founded in 2010 and are 5th in the FSL west division.
SGA member junior Isla Stewart said, “I went to this game as a freshman, and I am super excited to be doing it again. I love being able to cheer on a local team while being with my friends.”
