Hayden Zimmerman – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) beach volleyball team has won a district championship, beating Palmetto High School 4-1.
This is the ninth win for the team (9-4).
Senior Ava Collins said, “It’s been an exhausting and demanding season, but I know it was all worth it in the end.”
Last Wednesday against PHS the Mustangs’ 1,2,3, and 5 seeds all took the overall wins for their match.

Senior Julia Vendramini said, “I am so glad that we were able to come out with another districts win and I can’t wait for regionals.”
The team will advance to regionals where they will compete in a single elimination style tournament spanning multiple weeks.
The girls’ next game is scheduled for 4 p.m., April 27 at Riverview High School (8-3).
