Caroline Bartlomiejczuk- Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) orchestra classes had the final concert of the school year April 29.

This year has been a rollercoaster with many obstacles. Diaz had to learn how to conduct and lead an orchestra class after not having much experience in teaching music classes.

She took the time to not only organize the program but the whole orchestra room that was full of unnecessary stuff from previous years.

She said, “My leadership team really helped me so much with everything possible. I was a mess at the beginning and struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel but achieving such high ratings at the Musical Performance Assessments brought me hope for me.”

Senior Joey Calderon, Junior Julian Vallarta and members of Tri-M Society were there that night and able to get hours for helping out during the concert with behind-the-scenes work.

The orchestra classes joined together for a banquet on May 5 to celebrate and have fun after the stressful weeks preparing for the concert.

This concert is when Diaz announced the new leadership team for the 26-27 school year.

  • Vice President: Maya Radawski
