Samuel Durkee - Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Class of 2026 took part in their final day of regularly scheduled classes Friday.
May 8 marks the last day of school for seniors before graduation.
Chris Cain said, “I’m happy to get out of here and begin the next chapter of my journey.”
During this time, they finalize their grades, say goodbye to their teachers, and wish underclassmen students luck on the remainder of their high school journey.

Max Kalis said, “Thank god I’m done with the work, but I’ll miss everyone and my teachers.”
Many graduates are currently enrolled in colleges, awaiting the fall semester, or pursuing a career.
Branchley LeFranc said, “I’m feeling a lot of sonder, it was bittersweet that I have to leave my friends.”
The class of 2026 graduation ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., May 18 at Bradenton’s LECOM Park.
