On May 2, 13 athletes competed at the Regional meet at Charlotte High School.

Coach Bill Zarrella said, “I’ve watched some of these athletes that are now juniors and seniors grow from their freshmen years. It’s impressive how much work and effort these athletes put in to make it this high.”

The track banquet was on May 4, and track and field athletes and the coaches were able to be recognized.

Coach Ashley Palmer said, “It is hard to manage all these athletes and help them all individually become successful. It takes personal desire to want to achieve such execution. With it being my first year with this school, I’m already excited to improve next year’s team.”

Coach Rae Ann Darling Reed and Zarrella are both excited to eager to watch some of the returning runners participate in cross country.
