Josie Kropfl – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Mustangs are nearing the last day of school, it is important to drop off all textbooks and books borrowed from the library by the end of the year.

The drop off location is in the school media center. Audrey Dombroski, LRHS’s Media Specialist, further detailed the procedure by explaining, “If no one is testing in the library, the student may enter. If there is testing, please put it in the dropbox.”

Dombroski encourages Mustangs to return books right after taking their exams.

Most, if not all, classes have a textbook, apart from some English Language Arts (ELA) and math classes.

If a student fails to return all textbooks by May 28, consequences such as “the inability to get a parking pass, go to the prom, graduate” and others will follow, according to Dombroski.

Dombroski added, “If you don't return your book, next year we may not have enough for the new students taking that course.”
