Carter Bagshaw – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - This June the Lakewood Ranch High School boys basketball team will hold a camp for any third through nineth graders looking for a fun, focused, air-conditioned camp with basketball, games, challenges, skill work throughout the day. The event will be coached by Lakewood Ranch boys basketball Head Coach Kaden Knott.
The camp will run June 1-28.
Knott said one goal of the camp is to help develop consistency.
“I am the fifth Head Coach in the past 5 years,” he said. “One of my main focuses for the program is to rebuild the relationship between the community and the basketball program.
“I want to help teach the current group that is at LRHS what giving back to your community means, and what it means to have pride in where you come from. Our program is bigger than basketball.”

Knott has experience holding camps, he said “This camp has gone on for years here in LRHS and I myself have experience running camps for all levels from third grade to collegiate prospects in Las Vegas, NV, Exeter, NH, & Tallahassee, FL.”
Knott hopes to reestablish Lakewood Ranch basketball’s roots with the community and show what the program is all about.
