Elizabeth Foss- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) junior Gigi Haines was labeled WSNN Athlete of the Month for LRHS girls varsity lacrosse.
Haines was given this title due to her athletic performance. She scored six goals in the regional playoff game.
The Mustang's varsity girl's lacrosse team ended their season 12-7.
Overall, Haines scored 31 goals and earned 47 points with 16 assists.
“She’s a winner,” LRHS Head Lacrosse Coach Blair Woods explained. “That’s she’s been a real big part of turning this team into a winning program instead of just a bunch of girls who play lacrosse. It shows all the time, and the kids love each other. Haines is a huge hero to a lot of kids coming up on the team.”

Haines shared, “I am very grateful to have received this award, all the other candidates worked very hard, as well as my teammates.”
