(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) posted the 2026-2027 student handbook.

The student handbook for LRHS is updated each academic year. This year's handbook details policies made by the School District of Manatee County and by the LRHS administration.

The LRHS student handbook is a valuable resource for any students, parents, or staff members.

LRHS Assistant Principal Becky Satterly said, “Information regarding everything from attendance to graduation requirements. It is a great resource for LRHS specific policies.”

When asked if the 2026/2027 handbook has any significant changes, Satterly said, “The student handbook was reorganized and updated this year to reflect current policies and procedures at LRHS.”

A notable change to the handbook is notifying the school of a student's absence.

According to the handbook families must “upload a note to the FOCUS parent portal, email LRHSattendance@manateeschools.net, or call 727-6100 Ext. 32011.”

Another important policy to note deals with tardies. The handbook stated, “Up to 4 unexcused tardies in a quarter result in (1) detention consequence issued on the 4th tardy.”

Satterly also illustrated the importance of all Mustangs, parents included, to know the information in the handbook.

“Students, parent and faculty should know the information in the student handbook,” she said.
