(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) scheduled parking permit pickup from 1-3 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 9-11 a.m. on Aug. 7 in the LRHS Media Center.

Around 600 passes will be available for pickup.  Passes went on sale at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.

LRHS Assistant Principal Samantha Biggs commented on the procedure for students picking up their passes.

“Students will enter through Evolv and go to the Media Center. Staff members will be in the Media Center ready to direct them,” Biggs said.

Biggs continued, “Students should ensure they have uploaded all of their appropriate documents to Schoology and have received a 100% on their submissions. Students also need to have their photo ID ready to present.”

Senior Victoria Peterson is excited because picking up her pass marks the start of her senior year at LRHS.

“I’m excited to pick up my parking pass and get my senior year started,” Peterson stated.

When asked if students have to be the ones to pick their passes up, Biggs commented, “Parents can pick up their passes for their students. However, we encourage students to come and pick up their parking pass.”

Junior Addison Gentz is going to be parking on campus for the first time. She said, “This will be my first year parking on campus and I am super excited to be able to get myself to and from school. I won’t have to rely on my parents anymore.”

If students can’t go to either distribution, Biggs said, “Parking passes that have not been picked up prior to the start of the school year will be available for pickup.”
