(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) school counselors have announced the schedule change procedure for the 2026-2027 school year.

Within the first two days of school, the counselors' first priority is to make sure every student has a complete schedule. Schedule change requests will not be accepted or reviewed on the first two days.

LRHS counselor Monica McGrath shared, “We appreciate your patience as our counselors work through requests. Our team will work as efficiently as possible while also ensuring each request is carefully reviewed.”

The Schedule Change Request Form will open at 7a.m. on Wed. Aug. 12 and close on 3p.m. Friday Aug. 14. Students who would like a schedule change must submit the electronic form during this window.

Students who submit a Schedule Change Request Form will receive an email Friday evening confirming that their request has been received.

Requests sent directly to counselors via email will not be considered. All requests must be submitted through the Schedule Change Request Form to be considered.

Schedule changes will not be made for a course that the student selected during course registration last school year.

Each student may only submit one electronic Schedule Change Request Form. They must include all requested changes on that single submission. Additional submissions by the same student will not be reviewed.

Students must remember that submitting a request does not guarantee a schedule change will be made.
