Iona Ronney - Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - On Aug. 10, Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Mustang freshmen arrived on campus with nervousness and eagerness for the new school year. The freshman class is bigger than ever with 800 students.

On the first day of school, over 2600 Mustangs swarmed campus and experienced the excitement of first day traffic jams in the hallways; new mustangs found their way through their classes and adapted to their new schedule.

Now that first day jitters are done, opportunities are expanding and blossoming according to freshman Mustangs.

Kinsey O’Neal stated, ‘’ I'm not nervous anymore because I'm meeting new people and getting more comfortable, campus is not confusing anymore, it's going to be a good year!’’

New mustangs have stated their time so far in high school has been more than welcoming and a great environment to be a part of.

Anika Kalia said, ‘’Overall it's been pretty good, and most importantly, everyone is very nice.’’

Ben Harasim said, ‘’ It has been a very good week, nice people have been helping me out everywhere.’’
