(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Spanish Club holds first meeting on Aug. 21, 2026

Spanish Club holds meetings every other Friday in room 859. They participate in cultural activities and food.

The first meeting is scheduled for right after school Friday . This meeting is about the Spanish festival “La Tomatina,” where they throw tomatoes that cannot be sold for an hour on the streets of Buñol, Spain.

LRHS junior and Vice President of Spanish Club Jonah Rademacher stated, “I love Spanish club and one of the main reasons that got me into it was the people it’s a great community to be a part of and I love continuing to learn about the Spanish culture so I think it would be a great club for everyone to join.”

To attend the meeting, students must have already turned in a signed club permission form. Students who do not have the club form turned in will not be able to participate in meetings.
