(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - After a long, hot August, the first signs of fall bring a welcome change as cooler weather, cozy attire, and most important of all, seasonal flavors begin to take over.

Pumpkin, apple, cinnamon, maple, and caramel are the favorite flavors of the fall season.

And as temperatures begin to drop, people switch their fun summer clothes with cozy comfortable fall clothes.

Some popular clothing pieces for fall are cardigans, knitted sweaters, jeans, Ugg boots, fuzzy pants, and more.

Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) senior Stokely Browne stated that her favorite of fall is wearing cute fall outfits and getting pumpkin spice themed foods.

Coffee shops, grocery stores and bakeries have all started to release their fall menus items to attract more customers.

LRHS senior Aiden Mandel’s favorite fall dessert is apple cider donuts.  As a child his mother would make them every fall and it reminds him that taste doesn't only bring delight to your taste buds, but to your memories as well.

Fall flavors seem to draw people’s attention, bringing memories and a warm comforting feeling, even if it is a cold drink.

Starbucks released their new fall menu items on Aug. 22.

It sparked a lot of excitement.  Not only do people love a fun cozy fall drink, but all the pumpkin and Apple pastries.

Whether it’s the sweetness of apple pie or the warmth of cinnamon, fall flavors bring more than just taste; they bring memories and comfort.
