The varsity football team will play against BRHS at 7 p.m. on Sept. 4. Mustangs are encouraged to cheer on the team and participate in the white out/white lie theme.
Senior Ka’marion Jones highlighted, “I’ve been thinking about this rivalry game since last year, and I feel like we are an even better team than last year and more prepared to beat Braden River. We want that wheel back.”
The “wheel” is a big wooden ships wheel that is an unofficial trophy that goes to the winner of the annual rivalry football game between LRHS and BRHS.
