Callie Phillips – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - This September, Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) art teacher Brianna Augustine-Carter started an art gallery online to show her students artwork to the community.

She believes that LRHS has amazing student talent, and she wants to share their creative work with the community so they can enjoy the artwork too.

Augustine-Carter posts these galleries on her own social media but is wanting more. She has sent a new slideshow of art to LRHS TV production teacher Brian Stedman, hoping that it can be posted on the LRHS news Instagram page.

Mustangs can use their art to build a portfolio; this will help them grow and achieve new accomplishments.

Students are loving having their artwork presented in the slideshow. Augustine-Carter said, “The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Many students are eagerly bringing in additional pieces to be featured.”

Augustine-Carter is helping LRHS and the community grow by starting an online art gallery of her students work.
