(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Assistant Bookkeeper Silvia Gomez Andrade was named the school's Support Employee of the Year for 2026-27.  She joins social studies teacher Brian Ross in this year's school district Excellence in Education Awards.  Gomez came to this country from Mexico and offers LRHS her varied skills and experiences.  She is particularly noted, however, for her positive attitude and pleasant disposition.  This edition of the "Mustangs Ahead" podcast lets her share part of her story.
