Sedona Junga - Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Key Club members will have the opportunity to help take care of the school’s butterfly garden on Wednesday, Oct. 21, after school.

Students will help clean up the garden and remove weeds to keep the area looking nice. The butterfly garden also provides a space for students with disabilities to enjoy nature and participate in activities outside.

This is an easy way for Key Club members to earn volunteer hours while helping their school community. Members are reminded that they must complete five volunteer hours each quarter, and this activity is a simple way to work toward that goal.

Students interested in participating should meet in room 503 after school on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The activity is expected to last between 30 minutes and one hour.

The butterfly garden is located in the middle of building 5.
