Palmetto High School seniors graduate.

Palmetto High School proudly celebrated 550 graduates from the Class of 2026 during a memorable commencement ceremony at LECOM Park May 22, 2026, honoring a senior class defined by achievement, resilience, and ambition.

Collectively, the Class of 2026 has earned nearly $5 million in reported scholarships and grants so far—an impressive testament to their hard work and dedication throughout their high school journey.

As graduates crossed the stage, they did so prepared to pursue a wide range of opportunities, including enrollment in colleges and universities, technical training programs, military service, and entry into the workforce. Members of this year’s class will continue their education at prestigious institutions such as Princeton University, the University of Florida, Florida State University, the University of South Florida, the University of Central Florida, Louisiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the University of Alabama, Ringling College of Art and Design, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida A&M University, Eckerd College, Full Sail University, and Manatee Technical College, among others.

In addition to their academic pursuits, several graduates have committed to serving the nation by joining the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.
