Greetings Families of in-coming 6th Graders!
Your student will receive a form to register for courses for the upcoming school year from their elementary school. You will need to sign in 3 places and return it back to the elementary school.
Please discuss the elective choices with your student, and help them to choose the ones that best suit their interests.
Students applying for the AVID elective must be registered for at least 1 advanced class (Advanced Math, Language Arts, Science, or Social Studies). Core classes are assigned based on FAST scores.
The Student Aid, Yearbook, TSA (Technology Student Association) or TV/Video Production (Film) electives require teacher approval. Students must submit a separate application for these courses. The applications will be available at school and also on our school website.
Elective classes often fill up, so send the forms back quickly. If the registration forms are not returned, then your student's classes will be chosen for them based on enrollment numbers.
