Welcome Gullett Families
-
Hello Gullett families. Welcome to another exciting school year. There are many things to be excited about here at Gullett Elementary. We continue to be the largest elementary school in Manatee County, ending the 21-22 school year with 1350 students!! Our current enrollment is just at 1100 students, with more enrolling each week.
Although our enrollment continues to be higher than most other schools, we work hard to make sure each and every student is getting an engaging and challenging education. Our teachers will continue incorporating Morning Meetings in their daily routines where students will be engaged in discussion, greeting one another, and developing social skills to build positive momentum for each day. Our teachers will also be focusing on leadership by infusing "Life Skills" into their daily lessons. Students will be focusing on Cooperation, Respect, Empathy, Honesty, and many more traits that will help socially develop our students.
Finally, our school would not be where we are today without the continued support of the parents and families. We encourage you to get involved in your child's education. We have a great PTO that works to support our teachers and students, we have a very involved SAC that helps oversee the school policies, and much more. Meetings are held monthly to provide updates and gather volunteers to help make our school events amazing and enjoyable for all families.
Thank you Gullett families for your continued support and encouragement!
