Each year, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on Sept. 21, and each year, students at Anna Maria Elementary School hold a celebration of peace at the school known as Peace Day.
All students participate in the program, singing, flying international flags, and enjoying presentations from guest speakers.
The Manatee High School Band was also on hand to perform.
