Students will have an expanded opportunity to work closely with the land lab and several different types of small animals. This course also allows students to compete in local, state, and national competitions. Exploration of the many careers in agriculture are explored and experienced in a fun and challenging way.
FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those enrolled and interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of Agriculture Education. There is a yearly Lab fee of $35 and is a requirement of the class. This will include the New Horizons quarterly magazine, access to the student portal of FFA.org, National and State Fees, and a Haile Chapter Shirt.
*Students do NOT need to have an animal for Fair, nor do they have to be on a competition team. This is the student's choice to participate in these opportunities.
