Car Rider Dismissal

At Ballard, we use a computer system to dismiss our car riders. The system allows students to stay indoors out of the elements. The computer system assigns a unique code to each child/family. When the code is entered by our "scout" outside in the loop, the system sends an alert to the classroom where the student is waiting notifying them that their car is here. We are the only school in the district using this new technology, and it has helped increase our speed at car riders and student safety.

We do need your help to make sure this process goes as smoothly as possible. The most important thing you can do is to have your child's dismissal number up and visible on the driver-side dashboard.  If you lost your number or need more, please stop by the front office where we can print more for you. If you have not received a Student Pick-up number and card, please print out, complete and return the forms below to the office as soon as possible.
