Our Nolan Pre-Medical Program is designed to help students prepare for Health Science Professions. We have many tools and resources in our program to include the Anatomage Table, full size manikin and CPR manikins to practice hands only CPR, a CPR dog, tools of the trade, digital microscopes, Concussion simulation goggles, Fatal Vision goggles, forensic kits, health science games, models of organs, computers and multiple resources and textbooks in print. All core classes are supported through the curriculum using Medical Reading, Medical Terminology, Medical Math, Medical History Research, and Life Science.
Students have opportunities to attend field trips and listen to guest speakers to help determine interests. Students participate in lab activities, create edible models of organs, participate in service projects, and fundraise for their program.
Students enrolled in the Pre-Medical program do have the option to join HOSA by early September due to the competition schedule and deadlines.
