Counseling Department
-
Counseling at Bayshore makes an important contribution to all students' academic careers. We assist students in building a foundation for their learning and success. Bayshore's counseling department is an integral part of our school’s total educational program designed to promote the academic, career, and personal/social development of students. We provide:
-
Academic guidance to assist students and their parents in acquiring knowledge of the course choices available to students, creating their academic plan of study, taking and interpreting academic testing, and seeking post-secondary academic opportunities.
-
Career guidance to help students acquire information and plan action about work, jobs, apprenticeships, and post-secondary educational and career opportunities.
-
Personal counseling to assist students in understanding their rights and needs, and in defining their individual goals which reflect their interests, abilities, and aptitudes.
