AVID at the Orlando Magic Field Trip (November 15, 2024)

• Programming includes:

  • AVID alumni panel
  • College Fair
  • Multiple speakers from the Orlando Magic front office
  • Meal for each participant
  • Orlando Magic vs. 76ers game at 7 pm that night

• Cost is $65. Payments and permission slips due by November 1, 2024. 

AVID Open Application Period (March 11 - May 31, 2024)

• Do you want to go to college, but don't know how?
• Do you want to have a good career, not just a job?
• Are you willing to work hard to make your dreams come true?
• Do you have good attendance and behavior?  A 2.3+ GPA? A drive to succeed?

AVID at the Amway Field Trip (12/1/2023) - SOLD OUT

Bayshore AVID students will be attending AVID at the Amway Day on December 1, 2023.  Students will meet AVID alumni, engage in a discussion panel with Orlando Magic staff, and attend a college fair with over 15 colleges.  They also will be able to watch the Orlando Magic vs. Washington Wizards game that evening.  The field trip is $65, which includes transportation, ticket to the game, and a meal.  Payment can be made by cash, or money order.  Please contact Mr. Wilson for more information. 

Busch Gardens Field Trip (2/23/2024) - SOLD OUT

Bayshore AVID and science classes will be attending Busch Gardens Physics Day on February 23, 2024.  The field trip is $150 ($90 if the student has a fun card or annual pass).  The cost includes transportation, a t-shirt, and a lunch voucher.  Students can upgrade to an all-day dining meal for an additional $20. Please contact Mr. Wilson for more information.  Payment is due by January 24.
