    About

As stated on the organization's main website, "The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school's commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921."  Our organization serves both our students and our local community.  Students benefit from the extra encouragement to earn high grades in their classes, the support of their peers within the organization, and the added bonus of getting to write "National Honor Society" on their college and technical school applications; the community benefits from the service hours provided by our members and the excellent character that they exhibit each and every day.  Leading by example, our members work together to build a better tomorrow for all of us.

    Applications
