    Check back for calendar updates. All activities, pricing, dates, and times are accurate as of this date but are subject to change. 
     
    September 26-November 4 -- Senior hoodie sales. Small-XL = $35.  2x = $38.  3X-6X = $40. Orders made with exact cash or check made out to Southeast High can be made at Mrs. Rees' classroom by Southeast High Seniors. 
    • Exact cash & check sales in Mrs. Rees' room, by the computer labs.
    • Online link will be active until November 4, 2024. Hoodies will be delivered during January 2025. Senior Hoodies can be picked in Room 837.
     
    September 23 -- Post-Secondary College Fair (College Admissions Representatives) at MTC (Manatee Technical College Main Campus) for Juniors & Seniors. 5:30 - 7:30 pm  
     
    September 24 -- College and Career Fair at Southeast High School. Seniors will be released after the Senior Meeting.
     
    September 24 -- Senior Meeting, Auditorium. Seniors released at 7:45 am. Seniors who cannot attend should come to the Senior Parent Meeting at 6:30 pm or see Mrs. Rees.

    September 24 -- Senior Parents Meeting, Auditorium. 6:30 pm. 

    September 30 -- Deadline to have a senior picture taken at the local Lifetouch/Prestige studio in order to be included in the yearbook. If you have questions about senior photos, please contact Ms. Hailey McNamara at mcnamarah@manateeschools.net.

    October 3-4 -- Cash & check orders for Senior Hoodies for Southeast High School seniors in the cafeteria at lunch. (No parents on campus).
                           Seniors may also order/pay in Mrs. Rees' room before or after school until November 4, 2024. An online order link will be available soon. $35 for Small-XL, $38 for 2X, $40 for $3X-6X.

    November 30 -- Deadline to secure your individual senior yearbook page. 
     
    December 31 at 11:59 pm-- Sign up for FAFSA (free financial aid for post-secondary school) online https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Remember the FAFSA is the first step to receiving financial aid (FREE MONEY). The quicker you complete your FAFSA, the better your score.  FAFSA Instructional Video
     
    January 15 -- Senior Meeting, auditorium. 3rd Period. An announcement will be made for release. 
     
    January 15 -- Senior Panoramic Photo, gym, Time: TBA. An announcement will be made for release.
     
    January 23-24 -- Graduation Fees due. Fees ($100) include payment for cap/gown/tassel/medallion, diploma/cover, graduation programs, tickets, security, rental fees, awards and miscellaneous expenses. You will need to provide Height, Weight, and T-shirt size. 
    Payment may be at school with exact cash or check made out to Southeast High School or online with an additional convenience fee using a debit or credit card. Pay at the bookkeeper's office.
     
    January TBA--FAFSA "How To" Workshop at Southeast High School, Media Center, 6:30 pm.  
     
    January 31 -- Last day to order a yearbook @ Balfour.com. Seniors who preorder receive a free panoramic photo.
     
    February 7 -- Last day for Grad Bash ticket sales. Seniors must complete paperwork and prepay for tickets by February 7. See paperwork for eligibility requirements. Tickets are limited.

    February 14 -- Seniors who have not provided sizes by February 14 risk not having a cap & gown for graduation. See Mrs. Rees.
     
    March TBA -- Early Bird Prom Ticket Sales--$TBA (exact cash or check)--for Southeast students. Must complete prom forms and owe nothing to the school district.
     
    April TBA -- Senior Class meeting (release time TBA) and Senior Parent meeting (6:30 pm) regarding graduation and end of year activities. Auditorium.
    Seniors who are at MTC or Dual Enrolled should come to the 6:30 pm meeting.  
     
    April 5 -- Grad Bash (Prepaid ticket required. Because this is a special Universal Studios event, no season passes may be used. Students must ride provided transportation.)
     
    April TBA -- Teachers Choice Awards, TBA pm, Auditorium. The Teachers Choice Awards student invitations will be distributed in the first period teacher's class.
     
    April TBA -- Prom. More information can be obtained from Ms. Thomas in Guidance. Prom forms in Guidance.  
    • Early Bird Prom Ticket Sales—during all lunches. 
    • After the Early Bird date:  All SE Junior, Senior, & Guest tickets Price $. Tickets will be sold during lunches.
    • Guests can not be younger than 9th grade or older than age 20 on the day of prom.
    • In order to purchase tickets, students can not owe money/books to the school district, and seniors must have paid Graduation Fees and turned in the Senior Contract form. Check your FOCUS account to see if you have a debt.
    April 21-25 -- Senior privileges will take place. TBD. Senior Privileges end after April 25. 
     
    May 5 & 6 -- Last two regular class days. Cap & Gown Distribution during lunches for seniors who have pre-ordered cap/gown and paid Graduation Fees. Seniors who are testing or taking classes off campus may pick them up between 2:45 pm - 4:00 pm in the cafeteria on Monday, May 5. Questions? Message Ms. Rees. Subject to change.

    Seniors who have not paid Grad Fees or seniors who did not provide measurements by Feb. 14 will have to wait until after these distribution dates to pay and receive cap/gowns.

    May 5-9 -- Senior Exams. Per SDMC policy, seniors who have 80% or higher for 3rd and 4th Quarters in a class, may be exempt from the semester exam for that class. Does not apply for state, IB, or AP exams.
     
    May TBA -- Senior/Junior Awards Ceremony, Auditorium, 6:00 pm. Students receiving awards will be notified. Questions? See Mr. Harvey, College and Career Counselor.
     
    May TBA -- IB Pinning Ceremony, 6:00 pm, Auditorium. Questions? See Ms. Bishop.
     
    May 9 -- By noon, books and electronics must be returned, and debts paid to the school district before graduation tickets will be given to the graduating senior.
    Check the debt lists posted around campus. Classwork must be completed. 

    May 9 -- Senior Picnic. 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.  Only the graduating Southeast High School Class of 2023 Seniors and Southeast High School staff may attend. Games. Yearbooks.
    Seniors park in the New Gym Parking Lot.  Seniors may only be on the main campus if completing semester makeup work or exams. Make-up Exams must be scheduled with the teacher and are due by May 13, 2025, at 10:00 am.  
     
    May 12 -- Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal, 9:00-11:00 am. Softball Field. 
    11:30 am-2:00 pm. Graduation Ticket pick-up in the auditorium after attending rehearsal. Ten (10) FREE Tickets for Graduation will be distributed to the Spring Graduating Seniors by the counselors. Parents must have written permission to pick up the tickets for the senior if the senior cannot pick up the tickets. Seniors must be debt-free to the school district and have met graduation requirements in order to receive free tickets.  No extra tickets are available.  
     
    May 13 -- 8:00 am-12:00 noon. Final Graduation Ticket pick-up in the auditorium for seniors unable to pick up tickets on Monday. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
     
    Ten (10) FREE Tickets for Graduation will be distributed to the Spring Graduating Seniors by the guidance counselors.
    Parents must have written permission to pick up the tickets for the senior if the senior cannot pick up the tickets. Seniors must be debt-free to the school district and have met graduation requirements in order to receive free tickets.  No extra tickets are available.  

    Make-up Exams must be scheduled with the teacher and are due by May 13, 2025, at 10:00 am.  

     
    May 19 -- Graduation. 7:30 pm. Location: LECOM. Everyone must have a ticket--no open admission. SUBJECT TO CHANGE
     
    Graduation (All information is subject to change.) 
    • Seniors must be at location by 6:00 pm with the graduation uniform. 
    • Dress comfortably but school appropriate. Shorts are OK. No spike heels or flip-flops. 
    • Seniors may NOT decorate or modify the cap & gown / graduation attire. Per admin, if they do, they cannot participate.
    • Everyone must have a ticket except children under 3 who sit in an adult's lap.
    • No open admission--even after the ceremony starts. 
    • Per Manatee Co. Sheriff's Department: NO RE-ENTRY. No large bags and bags must be clear per district policy, No balloons, flowers, arrangements, or noisemakers allowed.
    • Though tickets are free, this is a ticketed event. I do not have extra tickets. 
    • PARKING IS VERY LIMITED. PLEASE CARPOOL. Limited Handicap Parking.
    June 20 -- Official 2025 senior transcript will be available. Class of 2025 Seniors may have one free (official or non-official) transcript after graduation. Form available in guidance in May 2025. Requests for additional transcripts.
     
    July TBD -- Summer Graduation for seniors who meet graduation requirements after spring graduation. More information to follow.

    Southeast graduating seniors may have one free transcript after graduation.
    The official finalized transcript will not be available until approximately June 20, 2024.

    Graduate Information
    Seniors must meet graduation requirements, be debt-free to the school district, and have paid graduation fees in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. 

    Reminder: all textbooks, school items, and electronics must be returned to Southeast High School and debts paid to the school district before tickets will be given to ceremony-participating senior graduates. Check in FOCUS or Destiny (in the MySDMC SSO) to see if there is a debt on your account.
