• Automotive Pathways

    There are two automotive pathways to follow at Parrish Community, the standard path and the honors path.

    Standard Path

    • Students in 9th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 1.
    • Students in 10th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 2.
    • Students in 11th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 3.  This provides articulated credit for Auto 1 through 3 to Manatee Technical College's Automobile Services Assistor program.
    • Students in 12th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 4.

    Honors Path

    • Students in 9th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 1.
    • Students in 10th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 2.
    • Students in 11th grade take Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair 3.  This provides articulated credit for Auto 1 through 3 to Manatee Technical College's Automobile Services Assistor program.
    • Students in 12th grade dual enroll at Manatee Technical College in the Automotive Electrical / Electronic System Technician program.  The course is 300 hours, earns 2 credits, and requires students to sign up for two blocks of auto.
