Meet a Difference Maker! Michael Brackman, teacher aide and middle school athletic director at Louise R. Johnson K-8 School of International Studies, is inspiring students beyond the classroom.
At a special event on Friday, Southeast High School students lit up with excitement when they spotted Coach Brackman arriving with a group of young leaders from Johnson K-8. These high schoolers once participated in the same IB program at Johnson.
Reunited again. A true example of pathways in action.

Today marks one month since Dr. Laurie Breslin officially stepped into her role as Superintendent, and we’re proud to recognize this milestone!
In just a few short weeks, Dr. Breslin has already begun building strong connections, listening closely to school communities, and championing the success of every student and staff member. Her commitment to excellence shines through in every conversation and decision.
As we look ahead, we’re excited about the vision, experience, and heart Dr. Breslin brings to our district. Please join us in celebrating this first month of leadership and welcoming the many great things still to come.

Trunk or Treat is right around the corner and our monsters are VERY hungry!
The class with the most PIECES will win a special class prize! NEW this year!
We’re also collecting non-food trinkets so every student can join in the fun. These will count toward your classroom’s piece total in the candy drive contest! Some fun ideas: stickers, erasers, pencils, spider rings, bracelets, etc. Please make sure items are new/unopened and the package clearly shows the quantity inside. Be sure to label with your teacher's name (MYP please use 1st period teacher). Thank you for helping us make Trunk or Treat a spooky-sweet night for ALL our Johnson students!
