When art educators collaborate, amazing things happen. Students at Louise R. Johnson K-8 School of International Studies dreamed it up, and artists at Southeast High brought those ideas to life.
This unique partnership challenged high school artists to interpret, design, and recreate the artwork while giving younger students the exciting experience of seeing their imaginations become reality. From sketch to sculpture, these student artists proved that creativity has no limits.
Sincere thanks to SDMC Visual & Performing Arts educators Suzie Abadjian and Sherie Pierce for sharing your vision with students and the Good News team!
