National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is for current Juniors and Seniors only. It is based on the four founding pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. Members must maintain a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA, participate in service projects both on campus and in the community, maintain a clean discipline record, and be student leaders on the BRHS campus. Membership is based on an application and selection process. New members are selected in the Spring from the current Sophomore and Junior classes. Membership dues are $20 per year. Other fees (such as tee-shirts and stoles for graduation) are additional, but not required. NHS meetings are every other Friday at 2:30 pm in the auditorium.
