General Music is taught at Manatee Elementary for all grades. Classes include vocal, instrumental, and creative movement/dance instruction.

The Music Program of studies is taught by an experienced elementary school music teacher and pianist with a background in music instruction and performance.

The program includes concerts in the the winter and later in the year. The recitals are presented to parents and the Manatee Elementary community at our school auditorium.

Band

Band lessons are offered during the school day to interested students. Students learn the basics of playing their instruments alone and with the group.

Chorus

The Manatee Elementary Chorus is comprised of students with the hope of further extending singing and aural skills. Students have opportunities to sing in different languages, styles, and musical genres.
