Blood Drive Committee

Club Description:
Our committee assists with the Suncoast Blood Drives 4 times a school year at LRHS. Students recruit
donors, set up and clean up at the drives, & assist the donors. Students do not have to donate blood to
join the committee. Scholarship is offered yearly to seniors from Suncoast Blood and Bubba Saves Lives.

FCA empowers student leaders to share their faith and equip their generation with the gospel of Jesus

The LRHS ARC Club is dedicated to community outreach and service under the scope of the American

Lakewood Singers

Club Description:
Lakewood Singers is for students who love to sing in a group. We sing for games, events at school, Manatee County events, school performances, competitions and participate in field trips with the LRHS choir. Our club is a fun way to make music and lasting friendships.

Student Working Against Tobacco

Club Description:
Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) is Florida's statewide youth organization. SWAT members
learn about the dangers and harms of nicotine products so that they are empowered to work toward a tobacco free future for them and their peers.

Club Description:
Youth in Action (YIA) is a group of peers coming together in Manatee Schools to promote healthy choices and mental wellness. Members develop strategies to positively impact peers and create school specific campaigns to target substance use prevention, mental health, and overall wellness.
