Your Support is Making a Difference
In March 2018, the citizens of Manatee County generously proved their support of our students and schools by passing a 1-Mill Referendum to insure that the School District of Manatee County remained competitive with surrounding school districts. Funds are specifically allocated to increase teacher pay and the pay of other district employees who work directly with students; to add 30 minutes to the school day; to enhance STEM and Career and Technical education; and to assist local charter schools.
This section is dedicated to keeping citizens informed about how those funds are being spent by the School District of Manatee County.
