Manatee County Charter Schools
Charter schools are public schools operating under a charter contract with the School District of Manatee County. Charters are independent public schools, which are fiscally and academically accountable to the school district but exempt from many district requirements and many state statutes. Charter schools operate under their own governing board structure.
